Notes: You are bidding on a wonderful little VW Bug Cabriolet from 1977. This little beauty has been lovingly restored over the past 6 months and she runs as good as she looks. Here are the highlights from the restoration:
Paint was stripped to the metal and primered and repainted with a bold white. The wheels were done to match as well. The interior has been recovered and the top was replaced.
All the glass in the car is good with no cracks, and the windows roll up and down without effort.
The vintage dash was restored and all the gauges, lights and switches work well.
The motor and transmission were gone through. Due to the condition of the car and the internals, we believe the car has 59k original miles but this is not known for sure.
Tires are in great shape and the car stops straight and responsively.
No rust. During the restoration, the floor pans were replaced but that was the only rusty metal.
