1959 Chevy Apache 3200 Shortbed Fleetside
Colorado Farm Truck with less than 10k miles on the restoration, completed in 2008
Original 235 CI Engine with 4 speed manual transmission.
Very clean and straight.
Everything is in great working order.
Engine runs excellent and starts easily everytime, manual transmission shifts smoothly.
Truck stops straight and goes down the road straight.
This truck was restored in 2008 with this following:
-New paint inside and out
-New weatherstrip
-New carpet
-New custom wheels and tires
-New master cylinder
-New bedwood and strips with hardware
-New battery and cables
-New cap, rotor, wires, points and condenser
-New spark plugs and coil
-Rebuilt carburetor
-New window cranks and interior door handles
-All bulbs replaced and in working order
-New driver side mirror
-New turn signal assembly
-New ingnition switch assembly
-Newer recovered seat
Truck was restored to be a show truck and although a lot of money was spent in the restoreation, the truck is not perfect. There is some rust in the cab corners but only on the inside metal. Hinges are solid but passenger side rear hinge has some rust. It is a very clean truck that gets lots of looks and thumbs up. 235 leaks a bit of oil (all of them do). Truck is a dream to drive and drive straight. Fires up every time. Very reliable daily or weekend driver. Collector owned old farm work truck.
